Week 2

We have started our class with several statistics that show how connected we are in the globalized world as technology becomes a part of our daily lives day after day. We have discussed how English language teaching implications can/could take place in the technology with applications and new media. We have then talked about the growth and evolution of the web. It started as a simple data-sharing system with limited usage, where the users haven't got a wide range of options for communication. With web 2.0, some of the most famous social media platforms were created and data sharing became an option for everyone who has an internet connection. With artificial intelligence and machine learning, now computers can interpret information just like humans with web 3.0.
