Language is acquired through good input, and especially when learning a second language, exposure to spoken language is essential for learning the language as it naturally and instinctively can be learned just with auditory input. Thanks to technology and the internet, learners can acquire the spoken form of language any time they want and there are many different ways to achieve it. For example, podcasts become more popular day after day and language learners can find and choose from a wide range of podcasters and topics based on their interests. Or with Edpuzzle, you can use the video content from youtube to your advantage by choosing an interesting video and creating a lesson around it. And with Youglish, learners can understand the spoken language better by reading the sentences of a video where it is hard to grasp the spoken language. You can find various well-known platforms that can be beneficial for language learners below.
